A First Impression
The MindSpa is a fascinating device, which fills the criteria that you require for developing your mind enhancing needs. The newest version; MindSpa system (MDS – 12p) comes with the eyes open style glasses, which gives you the flexibility to go about your day while wearing the glasses. I also like the feature where you can change between and mix the LEDs which are on the side of the glasses, between blue, white, and a combination of both.
The Handset
This handset gives the impression of a games controller, with its ergonomic feel, which makes the controller more tactile. This is a useful feature when operating the MindSpa, whilst you have your glasses on and wish to alter your preferences; volume, light intensity, ect.
MindSpa Soft Carry Case
I also like the self reeling wire system, which keeps your cables tangle free. It’s a nice touch as dealing with masses of cables can be a pain. Mindspa also has included intuitive battery saving and will automatically turn off after 2-5 minutes, if not in use.
The MindSpa comes with 18 pre-programed sessions, which are best used in conjunction with the MindSpa tailored training programs. I would recommend joining the MindSpa members area on their site avstim.com. You do not have to purchase a MindSpa to sign up. MindSpa comes with an editor programme. The programme is compatible for Windows 10 and lower, it does not work with Mac. From the instructions, it gives the impression of being “clunky” to use. With this download you have access to 18 new programs.
Optional extras; you can buy additional glasses, which come with various set-ups of LED configurations. The colours on offer are red, blue, white, and green. The glasses give you the option to choose your preferred colour combination.
